"After 3 full cycles with Bye Painful Periods, it's night and day. Before, my first two days were absolutely debilitating - nearly fainting from pain. Now I manage without any medication. My flow is more concentrated, much less spotting, and almost zero PMS. If I could keep only one supplement, it would be this one."

"I tested Bye Painful Periods due to significant cramping. Pain was still present but much less intense - to the point where I stopped thinking about it all day. I also noticed better mood and a clear improvement digestively. That was actually the most relieving effect for me."

"Before Bye Painful Periods, my first period day meant staying in bed, sometimes nearly fainting on the metro. By cycle three, I felt almost nothing - I attended a full-day conference and danced for an hour that same evening. Unimaginable before. My period also went from a week down to four days."

The ingredients

Chamomile

Contributes to optimal relaxation

Chamomile is a plant traditionally used for its calming and antispasmodic properties. It contains active compounds such as apigenin, which act on the nervous system to promote muscular and nervous relaxation. Through this effect, chamomile helps soothe the tension and abdominal cramps commonly experienced during periods. It therefore contributes to maintaining a sense of comfort and ease throughout the menstrual cycle. 80 mg of chamomile extract corresponds to 400 mg of dried flowers, concentrating the apigenin and soothing compounds recognised for promoting relaxation and easing pelvic cramps.

Ginger

Supports the body's natural defences

Ginger is a plant well known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It contains active compounds such as gingerols and shogaols, which help naturally reduce the production of prostaglandins involved in menstrual pain. These molecules also act on reducing abdominal cramps and help soothe discomfort during periods. Long used in herbal medicine, ginger is a well-tolerated natural option to support everyday feminine comfort. 90 mg of ginger extract is equivalent to 900 mg of dried rhizome, preserving its active gingerols involved in the natural reduction of menstrual pain intensity.

Yarrow

Helps soothe menstrual cramps

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium L.) is a plant traditionally used for its antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties. Thanks to its high flavonoid content, it helps relieve muscle spasms and abdominal cramps associated with painful periods. It also promotes relaxation of the uterine muscles, thereby contributing to greater comfort during the menstrual cycle. 625 mg of yarrow extract is equivalent to 3.125 g of dried plant, ensuring an optimal concentration of flavonoids traditionally recognised for easing cramps and supporting menstrual comfort.

Answers to your questions

Is Bye Painful Periods effective for endometriosis?

Yes, Bye Painful Periods can help improve comfort during periods, including for women living with endometriosis. The formula combines actives recognised for supporting menstrual pain, cramps and tension, which can make periods more manageable - even when pain is more intense than usual. That said, this supplement is not a treatment for endometriosis. It works best as a complementary support, alongside appropriate medical care.

What supplements should I take for endometriosis?

The most researched supplements for endometriosis focus on reducing inflammation and easing pelvic pain. PEA (palmitoylethanolamide), omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium and vitamin D are among the most commonly recommended by practitioners. Bye Painful Periods combines PEA with yarrow, ginger and chamomile - a formula designed specifically to target cramping, spasms and inflammation linked to the menstrual cycle. For a personalised approach, a consultation with a nutritional therapist or women's health specialist is always worthwhile.

How long before my period should I start taking Bye Painful Periods?

Start taking Bye Painful Periods 5 days before your period is due, and continue throughout the duration of your period - 4 capsules daily, split into 2 doses morning and evening with food. Starting before your period begins allows the actives to work ahead of the inflammatory response that triggers cramping. If you have endometriosis and are on a continuous pill with no periods, you can take it over 5 to 10 days whenever pain flares up, independently of your cycle.

How do I treat endometriosis naturally?

Natural management of endometriosis focuses on reducing inflammation and supporting your body through targeted lifestyle adjustments. An anti-inflammatory diet rich in omega-3s, fibre and vegetables - while limiting refined sugars, caffeine and red meat - is one of the most evidence-backed approaches. Regular gentle movement (walking, yoga, swimming), heat therapy for acute pain, and stress management practices like breathwork or meditation can also make a meaningful difference. Targeted supplements such as PEA, magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids are frequently used alongside these approaches to support comfort day to day. Natural management won't cure endometriosis, but it can significantly improve quality of life alongside medical treatment.

What supplements should I not take with endometriosis?

Because endometriosis is oestrogen-dependent, some supplements can make symptoms worse by disrupting hormonal balance or interfering with oestrogen levels. Others may interact with hormonal treatments commonly used to manage the condition. This is why it's always worth checking with your doctor or a registered nutritional therapist before adding anything new to your routine - what works well for one woman may not be right for another, especially when a condition like endometriosis is involved.

Can I take Bye Painful Periods if I'm on hormonal contraception?

Yes, Bye Painful Periods is compatible with both hormonal and non-hormonal contraceptives. If you are going through IVF or an assisted reproduction programme, speak to your doctor first. The formula is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for women with a known allergy to plants in the Asteraceae family (such as ragweed or daisies). If you are taking any other medication, check with a healthcare professional before use.

What vitamin deficiency is linked to endometriosis?

Vitamin D deficiency is the most consistently associated with endometriosis. Research suggests that lower vitamin D levels may promote unchecked cell proliferation and inflammation - two key drivers of the condition. Some studies have found that correcting a vitamin D deficiency is linked to reduced inflammation and a lower risk of endometriosis progression. If you haven't had your vitamin D levels checked recently, it's worth discussing with your GP, particularly if you live in the UK where sunlight exposure is limited for much of the year.

What are the 3 Ds of endometriosis?

The "3 Ds" is a medical shorthand used to describe the three most characteristic pain symptoms of endometriosis. Dysmenorrhoea refers to severe, debilitating period pain - significantly worse than typical cramping, often starting before your period and lasting several days. Dyspareunia is deep pelvic pain experienced during or after sex, which can indicate endometrial tissue growing in the deeper areas of the pelvis. Dyschezia describes sharp pain or heavy pressure during bowel movements, most commonly during or just before a period. If you experience one or more of these symptoms regularly, it's important to speak to your GP or gynaecologist.
